2003 Food Traceability Development and Verification Experiments of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
Cooperation for "Establishing Produce Traceability System using the Ubiquitous ID technology"
YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory (Chair: Ken Sakamura, Professor of the University of Tokyo) has been cooperating for a development project of the Ministry of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries, "Produce Traceability system using the Ubiquitous ID technology" which will be executed as the first verification experiment of Ubiquitous ID Center conducted by T-Engine Forum. T-Engine Forum has been executing experiments at the research & development and production stages of this verification experiment in cooperation with Yokosuka Hayama JA, Keikyu Store Co., Ltd., Yokosuka Produce Co., Ltd. and YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory, and sales experiments will start in stores from January 8th.
For the experiments mentioned above, YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory as a core member of T-Engine Forum has been providing various equipments necessary for the experiments, such as ubiquitous communicators, store terminals, ucode resolution servers, etc. and the IC tag processing method technology.
