| Providing information using mobile terminals with ultra tiny embedded chip
We built a system that provides more advanced information services based on information that is read by mobile terminals from small chips that are embedded in physical objects. For example, as seen in the illustration, a tiny chip that stores information to display the type of the medicine (medicine type ID) is embedded in the medicine package. This ID is read by holding a mobile terminal with a chip-reader over the chip, then, the information that corresponds to that ID is searched and shown on the display. If the user takes a bad combination of medicines, the user will be warned. Currently, it is said that a number of accidents occur due to harmful medicine combinations, so the applications to prevent these accidents from occurring, through utilizing this system, can be made available.
